Illustration for the cover of the European release of Ace Combat 5. I had to replace the original F14s in the image with the EF2000 Typhoon (Eurofighter). The Plane was modeled and textured and a lighting rig was extrapolated from the original image. The 3 planes were then rendered and integrated into the original Photoshop file. Due to the resolution of the final image the front section of the plane had to be modeled panel by panel and the texture files were created at 4k to 6k each. As usual the render was broken into layers and assembled in the final composite.
